MADE-IN-NIGERIA/BEAUTY/HAIR/EMILY MILLIONAIRE COCONUT OIL AND HERBS

I read a bunch of reviews of this made-in-nigeria product I tried about 6 years ago and was absolutely fabulous but tried again last year and was disastrous. The product is Emily Millionaire Coconut Oil And Herbs.
I used this product so much last year, my sisters felt I should be an ambassador and be paid, I totally agree with them.

The cream contains a bunch of ingredients, and I do mean 'bunch',lol. See them--100% Natural Coconut Oil & Herbs, Soya Beans Oil, Carrot Oil, Bergamot Oil, Saint Basil, Banana Jam, Vitamin E, Refined Palm Oil, Placenta, Protein, D Panthenol, African Shea Butter, Avacado [Avocado] Pear Oil and Almond Oil, Honey, Vegetable Oil, Orange Pells [Peels], Jojoba, Olive Oil, and Aloe Vera. *whew*

The first time I used it, 6 years ago, I applied it directly on my scalp every morning before I go to class (I was a university student then and was carrying a weave), by the time I removed the weave, I had a minimum of 3"-4" NEW GROWTH, I didn't change my diet or even adopt a healthy diet (I never ate healthy throughout my four years in school, no time, lol). I was shocked. I have no idea why I didn't continue the following months but a few years later, I remembered this miracle hair growth cream that had a smell people didn't like, so I bought it again, this time, I got the fertilizer as well. Oh My God, my hair was sooo dry and began to fall off. What have I done? What have they done to this cream? I guessed it now has a lot of alcohol in it, so I dumped it in my wardrobe.
When I read reviews of this cream on other blogs(including comments), I discovered I could use it as a pre-poo, still I didn't (and I don't know why) until my big sister (WHO JUST DID HER BIG CHOP,CAN I HEAR A YAY SOMEBODY!) told me how amazing it is for pre-poo, so I decided to give it a try with the one I dumped since last year, remember I had one ba?lol.

METHOD/APPLIQUE:

• I sectioned my hair into three

• De tangle with my home-made de tangling spray

• Finger Comb

• Applied #EMCOH generously

• Cover with plastic wrap(nylon) and my shower-cap

• Left in for about 1 hour (did some house chores and laundry)

• Washed Off with warm water

RESULTS:

It was alright. That's all I have to say.

Ok,ok. Let me explain more. It made my hair softer for sure but not as I'd hoped, not as I read in blogs, not as my sister claimed either.
Will I try it again, SURE, but this time,I will buy a new one (remember mine was over a year old, stashed somewhere in my closet,ha ha + it's really cheap, about N300) and MAY BE,I will use heat, just MAY BE.

Have you tried Emily Millionaire Coconut Oil And Herbs yet? Did you like it or not? Let me know in the comment section. Thanks guys.

D.I.Y WHIPPED BUTTER/LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER

One thing I love about being natural is the fact that I'm always whipping up things. I love d.i.y's and always eager to try something new. Anyways, I always make my own stuff but never get to take pictures, but I remembered to today. I made my own leave-in conditioner or whipped butter and its as good (if not better) than the once I buy. Lol. The things I used;

1. 50g Shea Butter
2. 1 Medium Aloe Vera Gel
3. 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
4. 2 Tbsp Glycerin
5. 2 Tbsp Honey
6. Little Water

You can also add coconut oil (the only reason I didn't use this is because I ran out and haven't made a fresh batch yet),Amla oil,Argan oil and other hair softening oil.
It turned out beautifully and an amazing moisturizer and sealant.

I started by melting the shea butter
Then I added the gel of one medium size aloe vera
Whipped it with a mixer
Added the olive oil, glycerin, honey and then water.
Whisk all of them till completely blended.

This is unscented but feel free to add your favourite scents in about 20 drops.

Outfit Of The Day

I have being meaning to post this #ootd post for over 4 months, never got around to it but its better late than never isn't it
This was during my days working as a call center agent (lol). I miss those days though, we had the freedom to express ourselves (fashion-wise).

Anyways, I love this outfit, I wore a chiffon print crop top and one of old pencil skirt. I love backpacks and its what you'll likely always catch me carrying.
One other thing I love about this look is my dope braid. My sister made it for me. The skirt hid out the true length of the hair, it was LOOONG, although, not as long as I wanted it to be, but that was my fault. (Really missing that hair, I think I'l have to do it again)
Do you like my outfit? Talk true oo. Comment please! K,Bye(lol).

NUMBER 25!

Hello there, its been forever!
So,I will be 25 in a couple of days,(OMG) that's a quarter of a century, something to be grateful for and something that causes a panic, do you realize I will be 50 in the exact number of years? This can't be handled sitting at a place. I'l be 25 in 7 days and for the longest time,I've been dreading that thought and having anxiety. I have always wanted to be 25, even before I was 18 but now that its here, I jut want to runaway and take cover.
The fact that I'm all grown up now and will not belong to the cool 18-24 demographics anymore, LOSS. I remembered a post I read a long time ago about the things a girl should be/do before or by the time she's 25. Now that I will be 25, decided to go check out some and I realized I've done great things and can comfortably check some of the boxes. YAY!!! However, there are still some/a lot I'd love to check off the list like;

1. Have an emergency kit (lol)
2. Know how to change a tire
3. Take a week/end getaway (ALONE)
4. A staple closet (Yes, I don't think I have one,working on it)
5. Be a good house guest
6. Make a new friend
7. Travel to another continent
8. Try an adrenaline sport (sky diving or scuba diving will do this for me)
9. Spend a whole weekend partying (this isn't reckless or irresponsible, its living)
10. Go on a blind date (or have I?)
11. Go camping in an open space
12. Buy a ridiculously expensive item

P.S, these are just a few things. A FEW!

Looking forward to 25 and I hope to achieve great things in the next 12 months.
Are you already 25 or past 25, what was it like for you? For those who aren't there yet, let me know some of the things you will like to do before or by the time you are 25? Let me know in the comment section.
